Finally finished a LO for the blog recipe challenge. Have used 3 c/s (2 cream, 1 red), 4pp (MM, October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket & Webster's Pages - love the vintage ads), more than 12 chipboard pieces (alphas & Jenni Bowlin milk bottle caps), 3 photos (1 a circle), punched blossoms, BG red ribbon (vertical bit on RH page) & yellow brads in the larger flowers. Added some extra vintage bits from the Net, & ink.

The photos were taken in Nairn in Scotland. Saw our family name first, then the bike with its vintage decoration so I got Rob to pose with Bram outside. We actually saw another shop called Brambles a bit later - got a photo of that too but will scrap that another day.

We had to send emails that were under 100kb so sadly you can't possibly see the details, like that beautifully decorated bike. The name of the grocery store is R.M.Watson & the journalling is about the fact that although I have absolutely no Watson relatives in Scotland (or any other relatives apart from Rob's family now), I could find connections with this shop because my Chinese grandfather was a market gardener & my uncle on Mum's side worked in his first job as a delivery boy for a grocer.

That picture made me think of Scotland before I read the description. Might have to do some of my Scotland photos too. The red looks great with them. Love all the vintage bits and the papers.

What a gorgeous layout Judy, I really love that cherry paper, and the red is just fabulous with the photo's, really makes everything pop. Those vintage bits are great too, a fantastic layout for the blog challenge Smile
